College Prep Genius (Product Overview and Review Part 1)

It's hard to believe that this is our 5th year homeschooling. As my oldest child gets closer to entering high school at home, I, like most homeschool parents planning to homeschool through high school, am starting to wonder how I can help my child achieve her dreams of a college education at the college of her choice, and afford to pay for it as well. SATs, ACTs, Transcripts, College Applications, College Interviews...this can be a very exciting, yet sometimes unnerving period of time for both homeschool parents and students, which is why I'm excited to be reviewing College Prep Genius. You can find them online at http://www.collegeprepgenius.com.

College Prep Genius may be what I am looking for, as it claims to help students achieve higher SAT scores, how to obtain money for tuition, and how to get accepted into the college of my student's choice. Sounds good to me!

I received for review:

College Prep Genius The No Brainer Way to SAT Success Text and Workbook

and

College Prep Genius Master the SAT Class DVD

Currently, at the time of this post, the entire program has an introductory price of $79.

On the College Prep Genius Website, there is a link to free published articles with important information to help prepare students for college. You can find them HERE.

In my first glance at the textbook and workbook, I was already impressed with the author's knowledge of the SAT, information on how to prepare your student, and I found it to be filled with test taking skills that will hopefully help my student be successful when she takes any standardized test, but most especially, the PSAT/SAT. I have enjoyed reading the great amount of helpful test taking tips, and can't wait to dive in some more with my student to see where this program takes us! I will share with you a final review in a few weeks.

Stay tuned for a final review on College Prep Genius coming soon!
