Now that I've had some time to look over College Prep Genius, I'd like to share my thoughts with you on what I've found.
My oldest homeschooled student is in 8th grade this year, and next year we will be starting high school at home. As I consider this, and her future, a concern that keeps coming up is how to help my child do well on her SAT, how to help her get into the college of her choice, and last, but certainly not least, how to pay for college. Honestly, I have no idea where to begin. So, I was very happy to receive this program to review that claims to help with all three.

I feel at this time my student is not ready to begin this program, so I decided to look it over for myself, and base my review on what I have learned so far from reading the books and watching the DVDs. After looking it over, I have decided that I will begin using College Prep Genius with my daughter this Spring. Next year she will be starting 9th grade, and there's a great amount of information to be learned in this program that will take some time, and I do not want to wait until the last minute!
I received from College Prep Genius a complete package that includes a College Prep Genius The No Brainer Way to SAT Success Textbook and Workbook, and a set of College Prep Genius Master the SAT Class on DVD. The cost of this entire program is currently at an introductory price at $79. After taking the time to look over this program, I feel that this is something that I personally would spend the money on for my college-bound student.
College Prep Genius is written and based on the fact that the SAT is not a test of knowledge, but rather a test of logic and reasoning. This program gives students keys to understanding a logical pattern to answering questions correctly, as well as tools to be successful on the essay portion of the SAT. There are many tips and tools for success included in this program, many that I have never heard or considered before now.

- How to create a similar test environment for practice.
- How to make the most of your time and not waste time during the test.
- Detailed instructions for eliminating incorrect answers, and therefore finding the correct answer.

- Studying/Correcting mistakes on each test (2 hours each for a total of 50 hours)
