What a pleasure it has been to review KinderBach for the TOS Crew. KinderBach is an online piano program for young children ages 2-7. All that is needed for this program is a computer with an internet connection, and an inexpensive keyboard.
KinderBach uses animated videos and hands-on activities, such as games, puzzles, multi-sensory activities, music, and printable worksheets to teach children to read notes, learn intervals, rhythm, and music patterns.
Colorful and animated, this program is sure to delight young children while learning to play the piano, as you'll see a sampling in the video below.

Below are some sample pages that are used with KinderBach. These are educational, fun activities for children to enhance the video lessons.

There are workbooks for each level that are available to download and print to go along with the lessons.

KinderBach is a music program that can give children a foundation in music that they can translate to any instrument. The lessons are taught in language that is understandable and enjoyable for young children. I feel that the videos to do a great job in engaging young children in the lesson.
I used this program with my youngest child, my 8 year old daughter, who unfortunately found it to be a bit "babyish" for her tastes. I also felt that she was a little bit too old for this program, but nonetheless, it was worth a try! This is more of a preschool program, and I believe an excellent one for that age group. I loved the program myself, and only wish I had tried it when my children were younger, as we have a very nice electronic keyboard just waiting to be played. This is a jam-packed multi-sensory piano program, that I'm sure would be a great addition to any preschool curriculum.
KinderBach is available for a one-year membership of $95.88 or $19.99 per month. There is also a day pass option available for $5.95, and a free trial available to see if this program is right for your child. There is also a sample video.
I also wanted to mention, that if you do not have a fast internet connection, KinderBach offers a DVD program starting at $40.45 plus shipping and handling, which includes piano lessons on DVD plus activity pages on CD. *NOTE: I only reviewed the online program, and this review applies to the online program only.
