I had the opportunity to use and review the American Girls Meet Kirsten Lapbook eBook with my youngest daughter who just happens to be be obsessed with anything having to do with American Girls these days. We already owned the American Girl Series Book Meet Kirsten, so we couldn't wait to start this lapbook!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed using this Lapbook Study about Kirsten, a young girl who immigrates from Sweden with her family to America. We read each chapter, and follow up by using the mini-books that are included in this lapbook kit. The mini-books are creative, educational, as well as colorful. The instructions are easy to follow. There are extensions for learning as well. I found that this lapbook and unit study was very easy to use and well written, and extremely full with plenty of educational opportunities for history and reading comprehension, as well as add-ons for hands-on activities. Assembly instructions are included as well.
I recommend this lapbook for little girls who enjoy learning about other little girls and their families, especially for girls like mine who love the American Girl dolls. We had a lot of fun doing this lapbook together, and we both learned a lot and it didn't even feel like "school"! You will need to either borrow the book Meet Kirsten from your local library, or purchase it before being able to use this lapbook study.
