We on the Homeschool Crew are finished with reviews for this year! It has been a wonderful school year for us, and I feel so blessed by all of the friendships that I made through the Crew. Our family enjoyed receiving all kinds of homeschool and sometimes non-homeschool products to review. This year has been so much fun too. I enjoyed using new curriculum I had never heard of before the Crew, as well as curriculum that I had hoped to try over the years. I had fun with my kids reading new books and trying out new-to-us products and discovering how my children like to learn, as well as how they don’t like to learn. I met people from all over, those on the Crew, and others who just took the time to comment here on the blog and let me know how much they appreciated my reviews. I am thankful for the generous vendors that I was fortunate enough to work with this year. I am so thankful for being on the Crew this year! And, I’m looking forward to a little summer break before I return in a couple of months as part of the NEW 2010-2011 TOS Crew!!
I was invited back to the Crew for the 2010-2011 school year as a First Mate! I am so excited and honored to return to the Crew. I’m looking forward to working with other First Mates as well as the new Crew members. The next Crew will have 2 groups, one reviewing products for younger elementary age children, and one for Jr. and Sr. High. I chose to review for the younger group, since I have 2 children in that age range. I am happy to be returning to the Crew!
I loved being part of the TOS Blog Cruise too. It was fun writing these posts, sharing how we homeschool, and hopefully helping others with their homeschool as well! Next year I will be heading up the TOS Blog Cruise Posts for the 2010-2011 Crew, and I’m really looking forward to working with my First Mates and the new Crew members, and of course reading their Blog Cruise Posts! We're going to have a blast!
I appreciate all of my Crewmates, and especially our Crew Leaders Heidi and Brenda. I want to thank all of my crewmates for their friendship and prayers. It’s been a wonderful, blessed school year! I also want to thank my friend Angie, for encouraging me to try out for the crew last year. Angie was part of the 2008-2009 TOS Crew, and I wouldn't have even known about the Crew without her! Thanks, friend!
