iLiveMath Oceans App Review and Giveaway!

A few months ago, I reviewed iLiveMath apps from iHomeEducator. I’m happy to share their new app with you called iLiveMath Oceans. This app has the same great features of the other iLiveMath apps with 3 levels for students in Kindergarten through 6th Grade.

• Level 1: Addition and Subtraction
• Level 2: Addition, Subtraction, & simple fractions
• Level 3: Advanced addition, subtraction, & fractions

Features of this app include:

• Review dynamically and randomly generated word problems
• Share your question and answer summaries on our community blog
• Email the questions and answers to your educator for review
• Tweet questions to followers and friends
• Explore related educational wiki links in a kid safe browser
• Watch fun educational videos after you've correctly answered a certain number of questions. This can be set by the educator at a threshold of 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 correct answers before the video feature is enabled

The brilliant photographs, are just as gorgeous as you would expect from iHomeEducators. There are over 30 types of sea creatures featured in this app! The quality sound effects create a sea-like environment that engages even the most distractible child.  The word problems are ocean-themed too. Children can work through the problems, and use their imaginations to take them away on an ocean expedition while learning and having fun working through over 100,000 randomly generated math word problem questions.

This is a universal app that runs on iPad, as well as the iPhone and iPod Touch. The layout for the iPad fully utilizes the larger screen, new button layout, new picker popup, and new view transitions. Landscape and Portrait Mode is supported for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch.

Not to disappoint, this latest app from iHome Educators is a great app to try out for yourself as a starter app, or to add to your educational app collection on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
